These earrings are part of a series made using a mold of a piece of an antique pin that belonged to my grandmother. I have a pair and wear them with everything from jeans to pearls. I loved my grandma’s eclectic collection of sparkly antique, modern and funky old jewelry and would spend hours with her rummaging through the boxes of treasures in her room. Sometimes she would tell me the history behind the older pieces or show me the outfit she mail-ordered the newer (cheaper) pieces to go with. She was also one of my biggest supporters when I began my jewelry business. My kids called her GG (for great grandma), so it seemed appropriate to name this design after her.
The earring charms are made by hand with recycled fine silver, and the ear wires are made of Argentium silver (.960ST) so they are gentle on the ears.
